The library

Every template here came out of a real rollout. You can view all of them without giving us anything — no form in front of the useful part. If you want the editable version to put your own change into, that's where we ask for an email.

How to use these together

They're a sequence, not a menu.

1

Impact assessment first

You can't map stakeholders sensibly until you know which groups the change actually lands on, and how hard.

2

Then the influence map

Now that you know who's affected, work out who decides, who blocks, and who carries the message.

3

Then readiness, per group

Score the groups the impact assessment flagged. Use the 20 questions so the score means something.

4

Then the communication plan

Built from the map, so every message has a named audience and a stance you're trying to move — not a calendar of sends.

5

Re-score readiness monthly

Readiness is a moving number. A single pre-go-live assessment tells you almost nothing about where you'll be in six weeks.

6

If you only use two

Use the influence map and the readiness scorecard. They're the two that change what happens in a steering meeting.

A note on tools

These work in a spreadsheet. Genuinely. Where a spreadsheet stops working is when a second change lands on the same group, when someone asks for a readiness number in a meeting you're not in, and when a new owner inherits the file. That's what AlignHQ is for — but start with the templates.

70%

of change initiatives fail

37%

lack confidence in change

62%

rely on spreadsheets

The templates are the method. AlignHQ is the method running continuously.

Stakeholders, readiness, risk and reinforcement in one place — across every initiative, not one spreadsheet at a time.
